Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Dubai will host a unique global event in November 2024 that brings together the brightest minds and academic and innovative talents under the umbrella of "Dubai Future Solutions – Innovations for Humanity."
This initiative, held alongside the third edition of the "Dubai Future Forum" on November 19-20, aims to identify projects capable of effectively addressing global challenges. It gathers distinguished graduates and professors from over 800 global universities, offering solutions in areas such as agriculture, healthcare, energy, mobility, and water. On November 19, five exceptional innovators will be honored with awards worth up to AED 360,000 to support their research and projects.
The initiative is organized in partnership with the Dubai Future Foundation and leading institutions such as the Dubai International Financial Centre and the Damac Charitable Foundation, which has allocated AED 100 million to support innovation. A total of 100 projects, selected from 2,700 global submissions, will be showcased at "Area 2071" in the Emirates Towers Boulevard, offering innovators an opportunity to turn their ideas into commercial projects in collaboration with leading entities.
Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed highlighted the significant role of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed’s support for creativity and innovation in the initiative’s success, emphasizing the importance of uniting international efforts to create innovative solutions for humanity. She described the initiative as a model of synergy between sectors and institutions to advance sustainable development.
